RESULTS OF AWARDED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMMES 2012/2013

Within the framework of academic cooperation between France and Ghana, the French Embassy and Institut français du Ghana Regarding to the quality of applications received the selection committee awarded 3 grants for PHDs and 4 for Master’s Degrees.*

*Subject to the registration acceptance in a French higher education institution and the proof of funding from the Ghanaian University/institution or private funds from the applicant.

Duration and benefits

  • 3 stays in France of 6 months each, over a three-year period
  • 3 return tickets to France (1 for each stay)
  • Free Visa
  • Free university basic registration fees
  • Health insurance
  • Living costs will be covered by the Ghanaian University (for example by providing the full salary for professors), or personal resources: candidates will have to provide proofs of revenues of about 780 Euros/month – about 1680 ghs/month – either provided by their Ghanaian university, a private company, or personal revenues

Master Degrees Scholarships

Duration and benefits

  • 24 months of scholarship
  • 2 return tickets to France
  • Free Visa
  • Free university basic registration fees
  • Health insurance
  • A provided living allowance of 442 Euros/month. Candidates will have to provide complementing proofs of revenues of about 350 Euros/month – about 750 ghs/month – either provided by their Ghanaian university, a private company, or personal revenues.

    Certificat conaissance langue française
  • Letter of acceptation by the University in France
  • Copy of valid passport.
  • Translation of birth certificate (certified translation)
  • Copies of diplomas (Included a translation of WAEC and first degree certificate)
  • Convention or MoU between the two universities (if relevant)
  • List of publications
  • Required roofs of sufficient financial resources
